The Baby Bank, Christmas Pyjama Appeal

The Baby Bank based in Windsor/Maidenhead have launched their Christmas Pyjama Appeal and are now collecting donations of brand new pyjamas or items of nightwear for 0-16 year old children, both boys and girls. Pyjama collections will be made up until the end of November 2018 and the pyjamas or nightwear can be any design, size and gender. Norden Farm’s annual Lantern Parade returns to Maidenhead for the 10th time!

The annual Lantern Parade takes place on Saturday 8th December 2018. The parade departs from Maidenhead Town Hall at 4.30pm and is free to attend. Celebrations including live music and entertainment, street food, licenced bar and hot drinks. It will be a fabulous chance for local children to meet 23 authors and illustrators who will bring stories to life through fun, interactive workshops. A walk at Pope’s Meadow in Binfield

Today we went for a family Sunday walk around Pope's Meadow in Binfield. Pope's Meadow is named after poet Alexander Pope (1688-1744) who lived in Pope's Manor adjacent to the site. There are designated paths around Pope's Meadow, which is a 13.7 acre parkland site in Binfield, Bracknell Forest. There is a free car park and play area next to it, with open green spaces, a couple of picnic benches and a pond.
