Today we went for a family Sunday walk around Pope’s Meadow in Binfield. Pope’s Meadow is named after poet Alexander Pope (1688-1744) who lived in Pope’s Manor adjacent to the site. There are designated paths around Pope’s Meadow, which is a 13.7 acre parkland site in Binfield, Bracknell Forest. There is a free car park and play area next to it, with open green spaces, a couple of picnic benches and a pond.

Our little one managed the walk we went on and it seemed just about the right length for little legs! The play area was a hit with my little one at the end of the walk, with a range of play equipment including a small and a large slide, swings, a tunnel and climbing equipment. It was a lovely place to spend an hour as a family in the fresh air.

Where can we park?
The Pope’s Meadow car park can be found off St Mark’s Road, Binfield, Bracknell RG42 4AY.
