Do you plan your summer holidays and how you are going to keep the kids busy or just take each day as it comes? I love having my little one at home with me for 6 weeks but like to plan as much as I can to ensure we are busy, whether this be at home or out and about. I find that being organised and planning ahead works well for us and also allows me to work within a budget mixing free events and activities with paid ones.
One of the strategies I have adopted this year is to do a Summer Holiday Bucket List. Which consists of 10 things I would like us to visit and go and see during the holidays, some of which we haven’t done before or for a long time.

Here is our holiday Bucket list:-
Visit Popes Meadow, Binfield
Build a Den at The Look Out, Bracknell
The Maidenhead Beach, Maidenhead
A Summer of Fun event, Bracknell Forest
Go on a boat trip on the River Thames
Visit a Lido
Changing of the Guard, Windsor
Visit the Totem Pole at Virginia Water
Walk to the Copper Horse in the Great Park, Windsor
Visit the Beach
If you would like to create a Bucket List for your family over the Summer Holidays you could use the list above or the Berkshire Mummies, Bumper Summer Holiday, Wha’t on Guide for inspiration and ideas.
