AD Review // Guided Tour with Canoe and Kayak Adventures in Windsor

Disclaimer: This blog post is written in Paid Partnership with Canoe and Kayak Adventures in Windsor. Views of our gifted Guided Kayaking Tour are honest and those of Berkshire Mummies. We were kindly invited to go on a guided canoeing tour along the River Thames at Windsor with Canoe and Kayak Adventures and what a wonderful and memorable experience it was. Lockdown had ended and outdoor water sports were allowed to open again, after months of being at home it felt so refreshing to be out somewhere different, making memories in one of our favourite Berkshire towns, in a covid safe…

AD – Review // Nutritional Ninjas Bake Box

Disclaimer: Berkshire Mummies has worked in paid partnership with Nutritional Ninjas on this post and was also gifted a Bake Box to review. All views are honest and those of Berkshire Mummies. I was invited to review the Nutritional Ninjas Bake Box and thought this was a great opportunity for an ‘at home’ activity where I didn’t need to do much thinking or preparing. Due to lockdown we have been together at home for a long time, we continued crafting and do activities throughout but it was nice to have a one prepared for me!   What was in the Bake…

AD – Review // A Goring Gap Wildlife Walk

Disclaimer: Berkshire Mummies was gifted this experience in exchange for a honest review. We had the fantastic opportunity one sunny Monday morning in July 2020 to go on a Goring Gap Wildlife Walk with our guide Steve. This is a business which has been born out of lockdown and for us it was great chance to explore a part of the Thames Path we had not walked along before. How do the Goring Gap Wildlife Walks work? A few days before going on the family walk, Goring Gap Wildlife Walks sent me an email confirming our walk, time, where to…

AD – Review // Little Learners Messy Play Pack

Disclosure: This review is a paid partnership with Little Learners Windsor. Berkshire Mummies was also gifted some of the items alongside the experience. I love setting up activities and crafts for my children but was delighted when Bernice from Little Learners Windsor, Maidenhead and Slough got in touch and offered for us to try out a Little Learners Messy Play Pack to use at home. Lockdown has been pretty full on in terms of crafting and activities. Don’t get me wrong I really enjoy doing them but it was lovely to have ‘a few days off’! It meant that I…

AD – Gifted // Review – Children’s Afternoon Tea at Robyn’s Nest Cafe, Warfield

AD - this is a collaborative post. We were gifted the Afternoon Teas. As many of you will know who have followed this blog for a while, I am a bit of a fan of Robyn’s Nest Cafe at Moss End Garden Village, not only does the cafe serve great food, it’s child and dog friendly plus there is a corner in the cafe with toys ready to help entertain the little ones. I was delighted when Robyn invited us down as a family for Afternoon Tea during half term, especially to check out the amazing new Children’s Afternoon Tea,…

AD – Gifted Tickets // Review – Maidenhead Mini-Golf

We were delighted to be invited to Maidenhead Mini-Golf to have a go on their brand new 18 hole, dinosaur themed, mini-golf course and were thrilled it was dry and sunny after a very wet week! It was a perfect way to enjoy a Friday Half Term afternoon. We received a very warm welcome, were given size appropriate golf clubs and picked a different coloured ball each, had a quick safety briefing and headed out onto the course. The mini-golf course was busy which was great to see, but the rounds flowed nicely with us only having to wait for…

AD – Gifted Tickets // Review – Concertini & The Brass Funkeys

Berkshire Mummies were invited by Conertini, to attend one of their concerts and we picked to go to their New Year show with The Brass Funkeys and I have to say it was a really positive and upbeat way to start a Sunday morning at the beginning of January, so thanks for having us Conertini. I took my eldest with me and we will definitely be booking tickets to another one of your concerts in the not too distant future. The Brass Funkeys were an 8 piece brass band, they were fantastic with the audience, educating us about their different…

Thank you to Rush UK, High Wycombe for inviting us down to come and have a go on the trampolines and also the soft play, we had a lovely morning playing. What we got up to during our visit First of all we went to the toddler session (for children 4 and under) on the trampolines which was between 9am - 10.30am, the session was great as there was loads to do and it wasn’t too busy and all the children were supervised by an adult. Before the session started we signed a waiver (you can read and sign this…

AD – Gifted Meal // Review – Veganuary at Bill’s, Bracknell

Thanks to Bill's for inviting us to their Bracknell restaurant in The Lexicon to try out their Veganuary menu. As a family we have discussed the idea of becoming vegans and don’t believe we could cut out meat and dairy completely from our diets, however we have decided we would like to eat a few more plant based dishes throughout the week. So visiting Bill’s to try out their Veganuary menu was a great way to kick start this off for us. Since The Lexicon in Bracknell opened we have enjoyed eating at the restaurant so it was great to…
