The Cheese Shed in Nettlebed

The Cheese Shed in Nettlebed

The Cheese Shed in Nettlebed is certainly worth a visit in our opinion and we can't wait to go back and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience which is based on the same site as the Nettlebed Creamery. All about The Cheese Shed The Cheese Shed is set in an open sided barn with extra seating outside the barn. There are straw bales and long tables to sit on made out of scaffolding plus festoon lighting and a sparkling light up 'The Cheese Shed' sign. The decor certainly added to the ambience. You will find menus on the tables and at…

The Egg Shed at Stokes Farm in Wokingham

The Egg Shed at Stokes Farm in Wokingham is a fantastic concept which gives you the opportunity to go and select your free range eggs at the farm in a Covid secure way. We visited The Egg Shed and really enjoyed the experience, in my eyes it's one of Berkshire hidden gems! We also went for a walk at Piglittle Field and Keephatch Park Nature Reserve which are just down the road from the farm after visiting the shop. How does The Egg Shed work? The Egg Shed has a selection of free range eggs including hens, duck and quail.…

Disclaimer: Berkshire Mummies has worked in paid partnership with Nutritional Ninjas on this post and was also gifted a Bake Box to review. All views are honest and those of Berkshire Mummies. I was invited to review the Nutritional Ninjas Bake Box and thought this was a great opportunity for an ‘at home’ activity where I didn’t need to do much thinking or preparing. Due to lockdown we have been together at home for a long time, we continued crafting and do activities throughout but it was nice to have a one prepared for me!   What was in the Bake…

Disclaimer: Berkshire Mummies was gifted this experience in exchange for a honest review. We had the fantastic opportunity one sunny Monday morning in July 2020 to go on a Goring Gap Wildlife Walk with our guide Steve. This is a business which has been born out of lockdown and for us it was great chance to explore a part of the Thames Path we had not walked along before. How do the Goring Gap Wildlife Walks work? A few days before going on the family walk, Goring Gap Wildlife Walks sent me an email confirming our walk, time, where to…

I love setting up activities and crafts for my children but was delighted when Bernice from Little Learners Windsor, Maidenhead and Slough got in touch and offered for us to try out a Little Learners Messy Play Pack to use at home. AD – Gifted // Review – Children’s Afternoon Tea at Robyn’s Nest Cafe, Warfield

AD - this is a collaborative post. We were gifted the Afternoon Teas. As many of you will know who have followed this blog for a while, I am a bit of a fan of Robyn’s Nest Cafe at Moss End Garden Village, not only does the cafe serve great food, it’s child and dog friendly plus there is a corner in the cafe with toys ready to help entertain the little ones. I was delighted when Robyn invited us down as a family for Afternoon Tea during half term, especially to check out the amazing new Children’s Afternoon Tea,…
