During a family visit to Newbury we decided to go and have a look around West Berkshire Museum which is free to visit. Victoria Park in Newbury

Victoria Park can be found next to the Kennet and Avon Canal and just near Parkway Shopping.  What is at Victoria Park? In Victoria Park you will find tennis courts, Newbury Bowling Club, the bandstand plus a Community Cafe (we visited during a weekend in January and it was closed).  There is loads of open green space plus a boating pond and large skate park.  You will also find a good sized play area in the park.
