We enjoy going for a walk and exploring the grounds at South Hill Park nature trail in the woodland area which are made of of wooden and metal sculptures. The sculptures are animal themed eg bee, fox and dragonfly to mention a few. Visiting Mill Meadows, Henley-on-Thames

Despite being in Oxfordshire, Henley-on-Thames is just over the Berkshire boarder (approx 25 minutes / 30 minutes from Reading / Maidenhead) and worth a visit. It's not only a quaint town to visit but you can have some great walks along the river watching the boats and wildlife. We enjoy visiting Mill Meadows, Henley-on-Thames, its one of our favourite parts of the town. Walking at Dorney Lake

Dorney Lake is a 2,200m purpose built lake owned and financed by Eton College, set in 400 acres of parkland. The land includes an arboretum and nature conservation area. The lake was made for and used in the 2012 Olympics and still has its Olympic rings on display today. The lake is situated in Dorney, Buckinghamshire not far from Eton and Windsor. The lake can be accessed by the public for walking. A family walk in Marlow

We enjoyed our family walk in Marlow along the River Thames. We parked in Higginson Park and walked along the tow path along the River Thames. The path was flat and well maintained with lots of families pushing buggies and walking dogs, there were a couple of well maintained bridges to walk over however. The walk was really scenic with views of Marlow Bridge and All Saints Church Bisham, across the water to look at. Alice Holt Forest Gruffalo Sculptures

On Sunday 6th January 2019 we had a family trip to Alice Holt Forest in Farnham, Surrey to find the Alice Holt Forest Gruffalo Sculptures. The Forest is approx 23 miles from Bracknell, 28 miles from Reading and 29 miles from Windsor. We had never been to Alice Holt Forest but I knew there were Gruffalo sculptures there and I was keen for my little one to see them as we all enjoy reading The Gruffalo and the other children's books by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. A walk at Pope’s Meadow in Binfield

Today we went for a family Sunday walk around Pope's Meadow in Binfield. Pope's Meadow is named after poet Alexander Pope (1688-1744) who lived in Pope's Manor adjacent to the site. There are designated paths around Pope's Meadow, which is a 13.7 acre parkland site in Binfield, Bracknell Forest. There is a free car park and play area next to it, with open green spaces, a couple of picnic benches and a pond. A day at West Wittering Beach

On Sunday 24th June we headed for a day on the beach at West Wittering in Chichester. It’s one of our favourite beaches to visit, especially as it’s a sandy beach with good car parking facilities (we paid £8.50 to park for the day, which we paid by card on arrival) and is generally a relatively straight forward journey from Berkshire, traffic dependant. Binfield Easter Egg Hunt

Today we took part in the Binfield Easter Egg Hunt which is taking place until Sunday 8th April 2018 in Binfield Village. There are 33 eggs hidden around the village and you can get a map for the egg hunt from Crema Coffee Shop or Binfield Village Stores. The Easter Egg Hunt maps are £2 each and I believe it’s certainly worth getting a map as the eggs are hidden over quite a large area. The surrounding main roads can be busy. Exploring Lightwater Country Park
