Lightwater Country Park is a brilliant open space to explore. Although the Country Park is in Surrey is isn’t far from the Berkshire boarder. The Country Park is just off junction 3 of the M3 between Bagshot and Lightwater.
What is there to do when exploring Lightwater Country Park?
We have been to exploring Lightwater Country Park on a number of occasions and enjoy walking through the woodlands and around the ponds. You can see and hear the M3 motorway through the woods on part of one of the trails but it is fenced off.

Alongside the nature trails there is a great play area which was installed not long before the first lockdown.

The walks around the lakes flat and buggy friendly. Dogs are welcome at the Country Park.
There were also ducks and geese on the ponds, so it’s a good place to feed them. There is a cafe on site, which serves a selection of food and drinks plus ice creams. There are also toilets.

What is the address for the country park?
Parking is free of charge at the country park and parking is dotted around the site at several locations.
Address: 72 The Avenue, Lightwater GU18 5RG
