AD – Gifted Tickets // Review – Maidenhead Mini-Golf

We were delighted to be invited to Maidenhead Mini-Golf to have a go on their brand new 18 hole, dinosaur themed, mini-golf course and were thrilled it was dry and sunny after a very wet week! It was a perfect way to enjoy a Friday Half Term afternoon. We received a very warm welcome, were given size appropriate golf clubs and picked a different coloured ball each, had a quick safety briefing and headed out onto the course. The mini-golf course was busy which was great to see, but the rounds flowed nicely with us only having to wait for…

A visit to the Museum of Berkshire Aviation

A visit to the Museum of Berkshire Aviation

At the beginning of 2020 before Covid-19 was part of our day to day lives we took a visit to the Museum of Berkshire Aviation. What's at the Museum? The museum isn’t huge and is based at the historic site of Woodley Airfield, near Reading - once the centre of a thriving aircraft industry. The museum is crammed full of aircraft of all different shapes and sizes and plenty of aircraft artefacts and memorabilia. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to get a closer look at some planes. The captures Berkshire’s dynamic contribution to aviation history graphically. The museum is…

Thank you to Rush UK, High Wycombe for inviting us down to come and have a go on the trampolines and also the soft play, we had a lovely morning playing. All Aboard at Pinewood (Wokingham) Miniature Railway

All Aboard at Pinewood (Wokingham) Miniature Railway

*This post was written pre-covid. Keep an eye on the miniature railway webpage for updates of when the railway may re-open. We visited the Pinewood Miniature Railway situated between Wokingham and Crowthorne on 15th April 2018. It’s certainly popular and we queued for about 15 minutes for a ride on one of the miniature trains. There were about 4 trains in operation so the queue kept moving all the time. Whilst waiting it was great fun just watching the trains (a mixture of electric and steam) leaving and returning to the station and it meant that my little one didn’t…

AD - Review // Role Play at Little Street, Frimley. I was gifted tickets for this experience in exchange for a review. Wow wow wow, Little Street. I was so impressed and my little one didn’t want to leave at the end of the session as we just had such a wonderful time in the world of role play. Thank you for giving us tickets in exchange for reviewing our experience. I had wanted to go to Little Street for quite a while as I had heard and seen such good things online, so I was delighted when Little Street, Frimley…

The Jelly Lounge in Windsor

The Jelly Lounge in Windsor

On 6th December 2017 I was invited to have a tour around The Jelly Lounge in Windsor ahead of the grand opening at midday on 7th December 2017. Upon arrival I was introduced to co-founders Tamar and Jenny who showed me around the new family club and explained their vision and passion for the club - a place for families to come, somewhere for children to have fun, explore and play whilst being with their families but also a place to give parents, grandparents and carers a chance for a drink, a bite to eat and an environment to meet…
