There are a number of Parks and Playgrounds in Windsor, which all vary in design and setting. Three of the playgrounds in Windsor currently don’t have Berkshire Mummies blog posts, but they are the play areas at Windsor Leisure Centre, Imperial Park and also Bachelors Acre. Bachelors Acre can be found off Victoria Street in Windsor itself – this is a popular park especially in the Summer months as it has fountains to run around it.

Parks and Playgrounds in Windsor
- Home Park Play Area
The Home Park Play Area is a wonderful play area that sits under Windsor Castle in the Home Park and is surrounded by beautiful trees. It’s a lovely play area to enjoy and not far from the town centre.
- Clewer Memorial Recreation Ground aka ‘The Pirate Park’
The Pirate Park is a popular playground in Dedworth Windsor. The playground also boasts a large sandpit, so don’t forget your bucket and spades. There is a large pirate ship in the centre of the play area plus loads of plenty of play equipment, open green space, free parking and a cafe.
- Vansittart Recreation Ground
Vansittart Recreation Ground has a large skate park, a play area with large rope climbing frame and open green field.
- Clewer Manor Play Area
Clewer Manor Play Area is a small fenced play area just down the road from Legoland Windsor. It is a wooden play area with equipment for older children and toddlers.
In addition to these Parks and Playgrounds in Windsor you might also enjoy visiting Alexandra Gardens by the river, which doesn’t have a park but is a lovely place for a stroll and picnic.
