Some coloured play dough.Some objects to make marks with - buttons, dried pasta, a fork, pinecone for example.Rolling pin. How do I do this activity? Roll out your play dough. Use your mark making 'tools' and objects to create patterns. As you can see from the photo we use buttons to create repeating patterns which look really effective. Why not build some brick bridges and sail some boats under them? What do I need? Building bricks. Tin foil. Toy Boat. How do I set up the activity? If you can it is recommended that you do this activity outdoors. Otherwise have some towels handy for any spills. Also, if you have a tuff spot tray this activity could also be done in this.
