The York Road Play Area in Binfield has brand new play equipment which is of fantastic quality and suitable for both older and younger children.

What’s at the play area?
The play area has a range of play equipment suitable for younger children including a wooden house with slides and steps, two brightly coloured spring toys – a bee and ladybird, two toddler swings, a grass bank with tunnel running through it and two willow tunnels.



For older children there is a large climbing frame / obstacle course, a range of swings including bucket swings and rope swing. There is also a wooden see-saw and open green space.




The play equipment is of a high quality and there is a picnic bench plus benches dotted around. It is a lovely place for a play and picnic.
What facilities are there?
There are no facilities at the site except free parking and rubbish bins.
However, the park is not far from Binfield Village so you could always grab a takeaway from Crema Coffee Shop or The Foxes’ Den Community Cafe.
Where can you park?
There is a small free car park at York Road Play Area in Binfield. The car park down a ‘hidden’ lane off York Road, about half way down. On the wall of the lane you will see a sign saying Play Area, there is a picture below so you know what to keep you eyes peeled for.
