Wargrave Recreation Ground has plenty to keep the children busy for a morning or afternoon, this is a brilliant play space and the play area is fantastic. The recreation ground is home to Wargrave Cricket Club and Wargrave Tennis Club.

What is at Wargrave Recreation Ground
There are two large playing fields, we visited in the summer so the first nearest the car park was set up for cricket matches. There are also several tennis courts.

You will find a brightly coloured play area which is fenced and has play equipment which is suitable for both younger and older children. There is a large boat in the centre of the play area, climbing frames, slides, play house, toddler swings and spring toys.

Outside the enclosed play area is a bucket swing and swings for older children, basket ball hoops, zip wire and climbing wall.

Behind the climbing wall there is a little path which takes you on a little trail through a small woodland.

Then in the field to the right of the play area as you look at it, is a bike track.

What facilities are there?
There is a free car park and a club house and other buildings. I did not see any public toilets when we visited. There are a couple of picnic benches in the playground area.

Car Park
There is a free car park at Wargrave Recreation Ground, Recreation Road, Wargrave, Reading, RG10 8BG.
