Things to do in Berkshire with the family between Christmas 2018 and New Year 2019

The time between Christmas and New Year is one of my favourite times of the year, for us it’s time to spend some quality family time together. Alongside catching up with friends and family we always try and fit in a good family walk or two and get outdoors. There is plenty of choice for family friendly walks in Berkshire and the surrounding area, we enjoy visiting Boulters Lock, Runnymede and Lightwater Country Park and also the beach, despite the drive, we think it’s worth it. Click here to see a list of Berkshire walks which might be of interest.

Other ideas of things to do between Christmas and New Year include visiting a Pantomime, going Ice Skating, we enjoyed our visit to Windsor on Ice back in November or maybe take a visit to Little Street, Frimley, Surrey.

Other ideas include completing The Winter Sprite Trail at The Savill Gardens or watching the Changing of the Guard.
