The Cheese Shed in Nettlebed is certainly worth a visit in our opinion and we can’t wait to go back and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience which is based on the same site as the Nettlebed Creamery.

All about The Cheese Shed
The Cheese Shed is set in an open sided barn with extra seating outside the barn. There are straw bales and long tables to sit on made out of scaffolding plus festoon lighting and a sparkling light up ‘The Cheese Shed’ sign. The decor certainly added to the ambience.

You will find menus on the tables and at The Cheese Shed itself and you order at The Cheese Shed window. Once your food is ordered you will be given a number and your food is delivered to the table.

The cheese toasties are incredible and are made from Highmoor and Witheridge cheese which are made on site at the Nettlebed Creamery. The bread is from Cornfield Bakery in Wheatley and it is certainly a winning combination.

During our visit we ordered two toasties, a cappuccino and a diet coke. The total cost came to £14.90, the toasties were £5 each. On the menu are cheese toasties, kefir smoothies, local coffee, hot chocolate, soft drinks and a selection of locally baked cakes.

The Cheese Shed is open 6 days a week; Tuesday – Friday 8.30am – 3pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am – 3pm and is closed on Mondays (except bank holidays) and you just turn up and pick a table.

Can I buy any cheese whilst visiting The Cheese Shed?
Inside the barn there was a stall which was set up and you could buy cheese from the Nettlebed Creamery; Bix, Highmoor and Witheridge, cultured butter, organic milk, kefir, eggs, bread, apple juice and honey.
