According to English Oxford Living Dictionaries the historical definition to Wassail is: ‘Historical with object (in south-western England) drink to (fruit trees, typically apple trees) in a custom intended to ensure a fruitful crop’. Wassail, Lily Hill Park, Bracknell, Saturday 11th January 2020, 5.30pm-7pm. £4 per person (book here, ticket sales close at 9am, Friday 10th January). Meet at North Car Park, RG12 2RX.
