We went walking at Thames Valley Park in Reading along the Thames Path. The walk is a flat walk and mainly along footpaths so good for buggies (part of the walk is across a well trodden path across a field so you might want to use an off road buggy) and it’s also dog friendly. We loved walking along the Jubilee River. It runs between Maidenhead and Windsor and is a 7.2 mile man-made flood relief channel which was was completed in 2002 the year of the Queen Elizabeth’s Golden Jubilee, hence the name Jubilee River. Where did we walk along the Jubilee River? We parked the car at the car park by Slough Weir and walked from here. It is a free car park next to the Jubilee River, just off the Eton to Slough Road.
