AD – Review // The Fir Tree, Norden Farm

On Monday, 26th November 2018, I took my little one to Norden Farm, Maidenhead to see their Christmas production, The Fir Tree written by Tove Jannson. I was kindly given two tickets by Norden Farm in exchange for reviewing the show. After collecting our tickets from the box office there were plenty of members of staff on hand to ask questions to and to direct us to our seats in the theatre. The set was on display on the stage when we arrived, for us this was great as it allowed my little one to ask questions and build anticipation in the lead up to the performance starting. The show was a mixture of live puppetry, music and singing and you soon focused on the puppet characters rather than the puppeteers themselves. My aim for this blog is to share our family friendly experiences as much as possible in Berkshire. However, on occasions we do go further afield and I aim to write up blog posts about holidays or weekend destinations around the UK that we visit. I have come to the conclusion that we are visiting them so I might as well share our experiences in case you happen to find yourself heading there. In the Autumn we headed to the Lake District and I put a blog post together about our wonderful time in the national park. We decided to go away for Easter this year and as part of our trip visited Cardiff Bay (blog to follow shortly).
