On a very wet, cold and soggy Shrove Tuesday we headed into Windsor, determined that the weather would not spoil our morning out. Once we’d parked we headed to Windsor Royal Station and watched the participants for the Windsor and Eton Flippin’ Pancake Challenge arriving and having photographs in their fancy dress. It was a little while until the Pancake Race started so we had a hot drink in a nearby café to warm ourselves up.
