Victoria Park can be found next to the Kennet and Avon Canal and just near Parkway Shopping.  What is at Victoria Park? In Victoria Park you will find tennis courts, Newbury Bowling Club, the bandstand plus a Community Cafe (we visited during a weekend in January and it was closed).  There is loads of open green space plus a boating pond and large skate park.  You will also find a good sized play area in the park. Silchester Playground is maintained by a team of volunteers - The Silchester Playground Association and it’s a well maintained wooden play area over looking Silchester Playing Field. The park is great for toddlers and older children.
