Savernake Park in Bracknell Forest (Winkfield) is a brilliant location to explore with the kids. The walk isn't very long and mainly around the balancing pond and open green space next to the park, but it's flat and the paths are surfaced so good for buggies and wheelchair access. We were delighted to be invited to Maidenhead Mini-Golf to have a go on their brand new 18 hole, dinosaur themed, mini-golf course and were thrilled it was dry and sunny after a very wet week! It was a perfect way to enjoy a Friday Half Term afternoon. We received a very warm welcome, were given size appropriate golf clubs and picked a different coloured ball each, had a quick safety briefing and headed out onto the course. Broomhall Recreation Ground is a wonderful open space and park that families can enjoy in Sunningdale. There is a large free car park. What can we do at the park? At the park you will find a large open grass space which is great for picnics, meeting friends and playing games. There are picnic benches around the park. The playground is a good size and has swings, a climbing frame and helter skelter plus other equipment.
