Walking at Lily Hill Park in Bracknell

Lily Hill Park in Bracknell is one of our favourite places to go for a family walk and adventure. The park is made up of 23 hectares of public open space which includes woodland areas, open green space, ponds, a boardwalk and sculptures plus plenty of wildlife and flowers. It’s also home to England’s longest picnic bench - carved from a single piece of wood. We park in the North Car Park which is free of charge and can be found off Lily Hill Road, Bracknell, RG12 2RX. 15 free things to do in Windsor, Berkshire

We visit Windsor regularly, the town is steeped in history, is home to the Queen and offers some great events, places to eat, an awesome toy shop at Daniel Department Store and awesome sites to see. Whilst exploring the town over the years I’ve discovered there is loads you can do for free in the town. 1) Changing of the Guard this a formal ceremony that takes place at Windsor Castle on set days throughout the week. In warmer months this happens more regularly. You can see the soldiers marching from the barracks up to Windsor Castle with a marching band and it’s wonderful to see.
