Walking at Wildmoor Heath Nature Reserve, Crowthorne

Whilst out running an errand in the February Half Term we planned to stop en-route to go walking at Wildmoor Heath Nature Reserve, Crowthorne, which is jointly owned by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust and Bracknell Forest. There is a car park (postcode: GU47 8PD) which was free of charge and it also had two picnic benches next to the car park. The nature reserve is a large 99 hectare lowland heath site which has a rich habitat for wildlife, including several rare species of birds - dogs must stick to paths and be kept on a lead during the nesting season.
