Brunel’s Sounding Arch in Maidenhead
Brunel's Bridge in Maidenhead was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and built in 1838. It is made up of two arches with the right arch known as the Sounding Arch because of the incredible echo that can be heard there. Where is it? The Sounding Arch is close to the Maidenhead Bridge. You can walk along the tow path and then under the Sounding Arch. Try out the amazing echo when you're standing underneath!
