We visit Windsor regularly, the town is steeped in history, is home to the Queen and offers some great events, places to eat, an awesome toy shop at Daniel Department Store and awesome sites to see. Whilst exploring the town over the years I’ve discovered there is loads you can do for free in the town. 1) Changing of the Guard this a formal ceremony that takes place at Windsor Castle on set days throughout the week. In warmer months this happens more regularly. You can see the soldiers marching from the barracks up to Windsor Castle with a marching band and it’s wonderful to see.
