The new enclosed play area at Ascot Jubilee Recreation Ground is bright and colourful with an animal theme and is situated where the old play area used to be. What's in the new play area? There is a stepping stone crocodile on the ground and a wobbly ladybird and the protective rubber floor surface also has flowers and leaves on it. There are a range of swings suitable for toddlers and older children. On the last Sunday of half term we visited Ascot Farmers' Market which takes place in Car Park 3, opposite Ascot Racecourse. The Farmers' Market takes place on the third Sunday of the month between 9am - 1pm. We really enjoyed walking around the market, talking to the suppliers and tasting their food samples whilst learning a little more about the origins of the food they were selling.
