The South Hill Road Play Area in Bracknell can be found not far from the North Lake at South Hill Park. The play area is nestled away in a wooded area where there is also a woodland area to discover with fallen trees to climb. The park can also be accessed from South Hill Road.
What is at South Hill Road Play Area?
The play area has a range of equipment from aimed aimed at both younger and older children. There is a new climbing frame, large swing, tunnel, monkey bars, rope climbing frame, roundabout, climbing wall and more.
You will also find a teenage shelter and picnic bench.
How do I access the play area?
From the car park walk along the path next to North Lake, going past the ring sculpture in the ground on your left hand side. At the end of the lake we bared left on the path which took us into a woodland area to the park. The park was about a five minute walk from the car park.
Where did we park?
We parked in a small free car park, adjacent to the entrance of the South Hill Car Park, on the South Hill Park – Front Lawn, near the North Lake side of the road. Click here for the location. Alternatively, you could have parked in the South Hill Park car park, click here for details.
What facilities are there?
There are no facilities at the park, however at South Hill Park on the opposite side of the road from the North Lake is The Atrium Bar and Restaurant, which is serving food and drinks following Covid guidelines. Click here for updates.
