SEN Sessions in Berkshire

Classes and activities can sometimes feel a little too overwhelming for some children, so we have listed below some Berkshire business providers who offer specific SEN sessions to those children with additional needs who may need a calmer environment in which to play. Moo Music – Moo Music in Bracknell offer SEN Sensory Sessions specifically designed for children with additional needs such as ADHD, ASD and SPD. They have lots of sensory lights and toys to explore with calming music playing. These sessions are for children under 12 years old. Please click here for more information and to book.

OZone Ice Rink – This Bracknell ice skating rink offer SEN-Inclusive skating sessions ensuring a calm, caring and enjoyable atmosphere for children aged 5 and over. Click here for more information.

Building for the Future – A Wokingham based, parent led charity providing activities, support and therapy for children with disabilities and/or additional needs and their families. There is a fully accessible play area where they run their stay and play sessions. Click here for further details.

SEND Family Beats Mini Maestros – The classes are aimed at families with young children aged 1 – 5 years who have additional needs. They have small classes so noise levels are comfortable and there is a play-based atmosphere so children can relax and enjoy following their interests. Visit their Facebook page to find out more.

Jump In* – An indoor trampoline and adventure park which offers relaxed sessions for children and adults with additional needs. During these sessions they have soft lighting and soothing or no music to create a relaxed, low sensory environment in which to play. Berkshire sessions run in Slough and Camberley. Coral Reef Waterworld – One of the largest interactive water worlds in England with a range of waterslides, an erupting volcano, pirate ship and lots more. They offer ‘accessible for everyone’ sessions which allow customers with disabilities, their families, carers and friends to enjoy Coral Reef and its iconic waterslides. These run once per month. Bracknell Trampoline Centre – Has a team of experienced coaches on hand with a passion for working with people with additional needs to ensure everyone can enjoy the amazing feeling of bouncing on the trampoline whilst remaining in a safe and positive environment. Chance to Dance Stars – A dance school for students and families in the disabled community. Classes run in Bracknell and Reading. Please click here for further information.

Thames Valley Adventure Playground – Is a charity that offers a unique range of adventurous, therapeutic and educational play activities in a safe, caring and stimulating environment, catering for both children and adults with all types of disability. Visit their website for more detail.
