It’s lovely to be able to go out for a family meal but children aren’t always happy to sit still for the whole time! So we have put together this comprehensive list of pubs with a play area in Berkshire.

Pubs in Berkshire with a Play Area

White Hart, Winkfield has an outdoor seating area with plenty of green open space for children to run around.

*The Pheasant Bar and Restaurant, Winnersh has a little children’s play area with climbing frame, swings and slide.

Elephant and Castle, Hurst has a little play area with slides and swings.

Nags Head Sunningdale has a play tent for children under 5 open in the Spring and Summer.

The Palmer Arms, Dorney has a large garden area with a recently added children’s play area.

The Half Moon, Windlesham has a large garden area for children to run around in with a separate play area.

The Furze Bush Inn, Newbury has a rear garden giving children somewhere to burn excess energy with an enclosed area with playground equipment.

The Waterside, Woodley has a play area and the South Lake is very close by for somewhere to explore.

The Jolly Farmer, Cookham has a large garden with a designated play area for children.

Heron on the Ford, Twyford, Charvil has a little enclosed play area in the garden. It is surrounded by lakes and countryside walks.

The Cottage Inn, Upper Bucklebury has an outside patio area, an animal enclosure and a paddock with lots of room for the kids to run around and play.

Admiral Cunningham, Bracknell has a large outdoor area with plenty of seating and a large climbing frame for children to play on whilst you eat.

The Rifle VolunteerWokingham has some play equipment for younger children dotted around the outdoor seating area.

The Pack Saddle, Mapledurham has a Community Garden area with a polytunnel, a herb garden, raised beds and a flower garden plus a lovely play area for children with a little house.

The Craven Arms, Newbury has a large garden area which is open all year round and there is plenty of play equipment for the children to use.

The Queen’s College Arms, Tadley is in a great location surrounded by open fields. They have children’s area out the back as well.
