Playgroups are a lovely way to get mums and dads, carers and grandparents together as well as babies interacting with one another in a calm and stress-free environment. We have listed here some of the playgroups available in Berkshire.

Bracknell
Little Starz, Warfield – Little Starz is a toddler group open to children under 5 years along with parents, grandparents and carers. They meet every Monday during term time at St Michael’s Church in Warfield from 10-11.30 am. £3 per family. Click here for more information.
Priestwood Under 5s, Priestwood – Priestwood Community Centre runs this group on Tuesday mornings during Term time, 9-11am. Biscuit snacks are provided for the children and they operate as a drop in group. £2.50 per session for an adult and child, extra children 50p, extra adults 60p. Click here for more information.
Robyns Nest Baby Groups, Warfeld – Robyns Nest run a bump and baby groups at their cafe in Warfield. Wednesday 9.30am. Free to attend but please purchase from the cafe. Tiny Talks Baby Class runs on Thursdays at 10am. Click here to find out more about what they offer and when.
Bucklebury
Bucklebury Baby and Toddler Group, Upper Bucklebury – Friday 9.30am – 11am during term time at The Memorial Hall in Upper Bucklebury. Toys, themed activities, play dough, ride on toys. £1 for under 6 months, £2 for an adult and one child, £3.50 for an adult and 2+ children. Click here for more details.

Weller Wizzies, Reading – This stay and play session runs out of the Weller Centre in Reading. Monday 10.30am – 12noon. They ask for a small donation for the sessions (50p suggested donation). Click here for more information.

Mums and Monsters Playgroup, Sandhurst – This playgroup is run by the Crowthorne and Sandhurst NCT branch and is suitable for ages 0 to 5 years. They are located within Sandhurst Community Centre at Sandhurst Memorial Park on Friday Mornings (term time only) at 9.45-11.15am. £3 per child, 50p for additional children. 4321 Toddler Group, Wokingham – This drop-in parent and toddler group is based at Wokingham Baptists Church. Open Tuesday mornings 10am-11.30am, during term time for children aged 4 and below. Activities include a craft table, painting, story time, as well as a large play area (taking over the whole church!) and a quiet room for babies. £1.50 per child, 50p per each extra child.
