Ray Mill Island is a wonderful place to visit with the children. There is lots to see and do including visiting the small playground at on the island.
What is at the playground at Ray Mill Island?
The playground is situate next to the cafe at Ray Mill Island. There are cafe table next to the play area which you can sit at. Despite it’s size it is a lovely park with a wooden wendy house, frog, stepping mushrooms and a spinning pole. The floor is covered in wood chip too.
Alongside the play equipment in the park there are also wooden sculptures dotted around the island and a large wooden bridge. Plus there is the opportunity to see the weir and boats coming into Boulter’s Lock. There is also a plenty of opportunities to feed the birds – so remember to take food!
