AD – Review // Nutritional Ninjas Bake Box

Disclaimer: Berkshire Mummies has worked in paid partnership with Nutritional Ninjas on this post and was also gifted a Bake Box to review. All views are honest and those of Berkshire Mummies.

I was invited to review the Nutritional Ninjas Bake Box and thought this was a great opportunity for an ‘at home’ activity where I didn’t need to do much thinking or preparing. Due to lockdown we have been together at home for a long time, we continued crafting and do activities throughout but it was nice to have a one prepared for me!

What was in the Bake Box?

Firstlythe box is the perfect size to fit through the letter box so you don’t need to worry whether you are in. The ingredients are all dry so you don’t need to use the box as soon as it arrives.

The box was full of the dry ingredients, a recipe card and instructions for the Snickerdoodle Cookies, Augusts recipe. Alongside the baking box you are also given an online login to cookery classes and additional recipes. So your child can also watch a video on how to make the Snickerdooble Cookies during or before baking. Due to the age of my child I supervised the bake.

Dry ingredients

In the box, in addition to the ingredient there was an activity card, food fact cards, a collectable sticker and certificate.

How easy was the recipe to make?

The box came with a well presented recipe card with instructions plus the dry ingredients and all you needed to add in addition was an egg, butter and vanilla essence.

The recipe uses cup measurements and all the ingredients that were sent in the box were pre-weighed. I am used to measuring in grams but there was a conversion chart which came in the box which we used for measuring the butter.

The recipe was straight forward to follow and my eldest loved getting stuck into mixing the ingredients together and taste testing the mixture of course!

The cookies

I have to say the Snickerdoodle Cookies were really delicious and we will use the recipe card again to make some more. They cooked quickly and stayed soft until they were all finished the following day.
