Mercedes Benz World in Weybridge, Surrey is a great place to visit for the whole family and entry is FREE, as is the car park.

What is there to do at Mercedes Benz World?
There are plenty of cars to look at, so if you have a little car fanatic, I would definitely recommend visiting. You can see the history of the Mercedes Benz car as well as racing cars and ultra modern electric cars.
You can also watch the cars on their driving experiences going round the track – you can watch outside on the ground floor near the café or on the top floor where you will find a viewing area.
My youngest had a go at the Little Learners driving experience (for 3-5 year olds) – you will need to book your 15 minute experience at the customer service desk upon arrival (there is a small fee per child). Each little learner gets their ‘own Mercedes’ to drive and they get taught about road signs. Whilst driving they can practise stopping at traffic lights and zebra crossings, plus the two way road system. I found the staff extremely patient and helpful with my little one – at the end of the experience my child was presented with a driving licence, which was a great little souvenir.
There are other experiences you can do on the day including simulator driving (an additional charge applies) and a chance to have a look at the exhibits including an incredible F1 car which is suspended from the ceiling piece by piece – it’s very impressive!
You will also find podiums dotted around Mercedes Benz World which are brilliant for photo opportunities, plus a selection of racing trophies to look at.
Mercedes Benz World is split over three levels and has a cafe on the ground floor and a bistro on the third floor. The food is very good and they also have sandwich boxes for the smaller ones.
We spent a few hours at Mercedes Benz World and it was a perfect trip for my little car loving child.

Brooklands Community Park is a couple of minutes drive away and there is a footpath between the two. There are two play areas there – one wooden which isn’t enclosed and the other enclosed with more traditional play equipment. There are also a series of cycle paths which are flat, so good for bikes and scooters. There is free parking. The address details are Sopwith Drive, Weybridge, nearest postcode KT13 0XF.
*Brooklands Museum – Its definitely worth a visit if you have children (or older family members) who love cars, aeroplanes, bikes and buses – the museum has plenty of them! And it’s right next to Mercedes Benz World. You can read about our visit here.
