Luna New Year Celebrations in Berkshire

There are a couple of different places to join in the Luna New Year Celebrations in Berkshire this year and you can find them below. They are FREE to attend and great fun to watch. This year is the year of the Dragon.

Luna New Year Celebrations in Berkshire

Lunar New Year in Maidenhead – The Lion Dance, High Street, 10th February 2024, 12.30pm. Free Entry. The traditional Lion Dance will start at 12.30pm from the Boy and the Boat statue on the High Street. Beforehand, a free family craft event inspired by Lunar New Year will take place in the Nicholson’s Shopping Centre from 10.30am. Click here for details. Luna New Year in Windsor – The Lion Dance, Windsor Royal Shopping Centre, 10th February 2024, 3pm. Click for more details.

Lunar New Year, Market Place, Wokingham, 18th February 2024, 11am – 3pm. Free Entry. The lion dance will be performed in the heart of the town alongside music, arts and crafts. There will be sweet and savoury street food too. Click here for details.
