Luna New Year Celebrations in Berkshire
Lunar New Year in Maidenhead – The Lion Dance, St Ives Road, Maidenhead (outside the Town Hall). This year marks The Year of the Snake and Maidenhead celebrate again on Saturday 1st February 2025, 12noon – 4pm. The Eagle Claw Kung Fu School UK will again perform their traditional dragon and lion dance at 12.30pm with firecrackers. New for 2025 – street food market and further wrap around entertainment. Luna New Year Lion Dance Parade, Windsor, Royal Windsor Shopping Centre, 1st February 2025, 2.30pm, watch the amazing Eagle Claw King Fu School perform their Lion Dance. Click here for details.
Chinese New Year Celebrations Market, The Broadway, Thatcham, 2nd February 2025, 10am – 4pm. Stalls open from 10am – 4pm with Chinese Lion Dance performances at 11am and 12.30pm. Click here for details.
Lunar New Year, Market Place, Wokingham, 9th February 2025, 11am – 3pm. Free Entry. The lion dance, one of the most important traditions at Chinese New Year, will be performed in the heart of the town alongside music, arts and crafts. Click here for the full itinery for the event.
