Lambing Season 2018

As Spring arrives the Lambing season is rapidly approaching. Berkshire Mummies thought it might be useful to put together a list of places you could visit some lambs in Berkshire and the surrounding area during March and April 2018.

Amners Farm, Burghfield hold their Lambing Days over two weekends, 28th and 29th April 2018 and 5th, 6th and 7th May 2018. As well as seeing the lambs other activities on lambing days can include pony rides, train and tractor rides and more. The event is ticketed. Fleecy Frolics at Merrist Wood College takes place on 21st and 22nd April 2018. The event advertises lamb cuddling, sheep shearing, animal feeding and more. The event is ticketed. At Miller’s Ark Farm, Hook, you get the chance to touch and handle the animals. Lambs and goat kids have recently been born. The farm is open on 24th and 25th March 2018 as well as the Easter holidays. Please visit Miller’s Ark Farm for full details about their open days and prices before visiting.

From 30th March 2018 – 16th April 2018 Bucklebury Farm, Reading will be running their Great Easter Egg Hunt where you can hunt for Bucklebury Farm’s Giant Eggs. The farm’s website mentions that they will be offering lamb feeding where park guests can come and help feed the farms orphan lambs.
