King George V Recreation Ground in Winkfield Row, between Ascot and Bracknell and just down the road from Locks Ride Recreation Ground which is a very popular park.

What equipment does the park have?
The play area at King George V Recreation Ground in Winkfield Row has recently been refurbished with new play equipment throughout. There is a small climbing frame, toddler swing, roundabout and trampoline for the younger children and swings, climbing frames one with climbing wall and helter-skelter slide attached, a large ‘snake’ swing and sea-saw.



There are picnic tables near the play area plus a large BBQ, this is locked and you need to contact Winkfield Parish Council to book the BBQ.

There is a large open playing field at the park, which is a dog free zone. There are no toilets on site. However, you could use the public toilet at Locks Ride Recreation Ground which also has a cabin sellling ice-cream, drinks and snacks – keep an eye on this Facebook page which tells you when it’s open – generally in the warmer months.
