Joel Park in Wokingham has a bright and colourful playground (Holt Copse Playground) in the centre of the park and Holt Copse. This is a lovely park for toddlers and younger children, but has something for older children too.

What’s at Joel Park?
The play area at Joel Park is enclosed and surrounded by woodland and open green space. There is a grass bank next to the playground which is a popular sledging location on snowy days.
The play area has a multi-coloured floor surface. There are several obstacle patterns set into the ground to follow, run and jump along, including hop scotch. There is also a ‘Tangle’ game to play.

In the play area you will find see-saws, a climbing frame for younger children with two slides and a climbing frame for older children with a slide.

There is also a roundabout, trampoline and swings. Sadly when we visited most of the swings were missing but there was a toddler swing and also one for older children.

Outside the play area you will find a wooden obstacle course.

What facilities are there?
There are no facilities at this park, but you can enjoy a walk at Holt Copse and it is a nice location for a picnic.
Where can I park?
There is a lay-by for parking next to Joel Park. Click here to see the location. There is also parking along Jubilee Avenue and you can walk through the park and woodland to the play area.
