What’s at Imperial Park?
Imperial Park has a large playing field which also doubles as a football pitch.
There is also a multi-purpose hard-standing pitch for basketball, football, netball and more.
Then there is a brilliant fenced play area – packed full of play equipment – a mixture of equipment for older and younger children. There were no toddler swings however. But there are climbing frames, swings, see-saw, stepping stones and more.
All about Imperial Park Cafe?
Imperial Park Cafe is a cosy and fantastic cafe based at Imperial Park, Windsor. The owners are very friendly and community spirited. At the cafe you can get hot and cold drinks, cakes and pastries, panini’s, sandwiches, baps, snacks and ice lollies.
There are two tables inside with more seating outside. It’s a great place to visit for a treat – dogs are also welcome.
The cafe is open 7 days a week. Here is the cafes menu.
There is a toilet which can be found in the same building as the cafe, but it is accessed from outside of the cafe.
There are also a couple of picnic benches and benches dotted around the site plus a gym equipment near the play area and multi-use court.
There is a path which runs right round the playing field which is flat, so great for little ones practising to ride a bike. It does however flood in places after heavy rainfall.
Car Parking and Location Address
Car parking is free of charge and you can park for up-to 3 hours. See image below for parking details (these were correct when posting on 17.01.2023, but obviously check for any changes when visiting.)
Imperial Park and Imperial Cafe can be found at Imperial Road, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 3RU
Clewer Manor Play Area can also be found on the next road (next to Windsor Girls’ School) and it’s also a lovely play area.
