Go Ape Bracknell

Our visit to Go Ape Bracknell Sundown Session

One winter evening I went to Go Ape with my friends. I really enjoyed it. I swooped through the trees while my friends stepped on the obstacles.

Go Ape Bracknell
This is a poem that I wrote:

As I swing through through the trees I look up and look down, I feel like a monkey swooping into the clouds. The gargantuan trees higher than the sky, the branches reach up and touch the star line. Whatever happens I’ll touch the illuminous shadows from lights so bright yet relaxing.

As I slowly stepped on the strong, brown wood, I wobbled like crazy and nearly ‘fell’ off “but did not!” I was a bit worried when I started to fall but I held on tight and didn’t let go. Then it was time for the final test I jumped off of the platform and gave it my best. That was the best round of all, so I went again and shouted “This is great to all!”

Go Ape in the dark was the best time of my life, so I recommend that you go there too.

Health and Safety

We thought Go Ape Sundown Sessions were very well organised. Everyone was briefed and harness up with a team of staff. The were loads of staff around, on the ground and up in the trees to help everyone around the course safely. Everyone was issued with a harness, trained to use it and had a little light attached to their harness. The staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

Go Ape Sundown Sessions

Go Ape Sundown Sessions take place afterdark in October and November. Click here to find out more about Go Ape.

Locally, Go Ape can also be found at Black Park in Slough and Alice Holt in Surrey.
