Did you know there are three free Wokingham Trails which you can do for free? All of the trails can be found on the Wokingham Town History App which is free to download and gives you all of the locations for the trails and the things you are looking to spot. On the app you will also find a guided tour of the Grade II Listed Town Hall with audio-visual commentary.
What are the trails?
There are three trails which you can do around Wokingham on the app;
Wokingham Mosaics Trail – find 10 mosaics in locations around the town of Wokingham. The mosaics represent events, individuals, local groups and sites and was organised by Wokingham Town Council.
Blue Plaque Trail by Wokingham Society – There are a number of Blue Plaques dotted around Wokingham town. Use the app to discover where the plaques are and learn more about the towns past by following the Wokingham Society’s heritage trail.
War Memorial Trail – The War Memorial Trail allows you to explore the World War Memorials throughout Wokingham Borough’s towns and parishes. There are monuments, stained glass windows, plaques and roll calls to find. The play an important roll in ensuring the fallen are fittingly remembered.
Once you have downloaded the app you will get access to all the details about the trails, including maps and pictures of what you are hoping to spot.
