Finchampstead Baptist Church (FBC) Play Area is an impressive space which is suitable for all ages and there is certainly plenty to do. There is a large playground plus an multi-use games area and a woodland walk.
What is at the playground?
There are swings for both older children and toddlers, a trampoline, tunnels, climbing frames, hills, bridges, multiple slides, a zip wire and more.
The play area is all enclosed and next to an open grass field and the multi-use games area.
There is also a woodland next to the multi-use games area and field which has woodland paths you can enjoy.
What is at the multi-use games area?
The multi-use games area is a fantastic facility. It has a flat ‘running’ track marked out in lanes which does a 185m circuit around the games area – perfect for walking, running, scooters and balance bikes. There are mini football pitches, an area for mini-tennis, table tennis tables, basketball and netball hoops plus some rebound panels for practising different sports.
What facilities are at Finchampstead Baptist Church?
There is a cafe at Finchampstead Baptist Church which is currently offering a takeaway from the rear of the building (the patio area) – with outdoor seating available. Monday – Saturday 10.30am – 3.30pm.
Where can I park?
There is a free car park at the FBC Centre. The address is Gorse Ride North, Finchampstead, Berkshire, RG40 4ES. You can access the car park from Gorse Ride North and Gorse Ride South.
Please note that the car park at Gorse Ride North is somethings being used for mobile Covid testing, so the car park may be closed. You can find updates on this Facebook page.
