We enjoy marking Easter in our household and enjoy decorating the house with Easter Crafts. This is all part of the occasion for us. It’s a great opportunity to sit down and craft with the children and make some memories. Here are three ideas for Easter Crafts you might like to try with your children.
Why not have a go at decorating an Easter Tree or Easter Twig? Simply cut out paper egg shapes, decorate them, add wool or string so you can hang them. You could either put a twig in a vase in the house or decorate a tree in the garden with the eggs.
Cardboard Tube Easter Bunnies
Why not turn a cardboard tube into an Easter Bunny. Simply decorate the length of the tube with a bunny face and some clothes out of patterned paper, add cotton wool for its tail and stick on some large bunny ears. Use pipe cleaners for arms and legs.
Why not make an Easter wreath? You could use a polystyrene wreath, cut out the centre of a paper plate, or cut out a circular piece of paper or card and cut the centre out in the middle. Paint your wreath in an Easter colour as your base and then stick Easter embellishments to it eg. feathers, eggs, ribbons, flowers etc.
