Datchet Village Hall Playground is part of Datchet Recreation Ground which just not far from Datchet town centre. There is a large open field with football pitches, tennis courts and an outdoor ‘green gym’.

When we visited Datchet Village Hall Playground I was impressed by the size of the play area and the amount of play equipment which was there. There was also accessible play equipment in the play area.

What is at Datchet Village Hall Playground?
There is loads of play equipment at Datchet Village Hall Playground, suitable for all ages. There is a play area for younger children (10 and under) and one for older children (10 and over) with some more play equipment in between the two play areas including a large rope swing and carousel swing which has several seats.

There are also some nice bits for toddlers including swings and little bikes which you cycle on a roundabout. You will also find an enclosed small multi-purposed hard surface court with goals.

In the younger play area there is plenty to explore including multiple climbing frames, a couple of them have slides, an accessible roundabout, toddler swings and bike roundabout to name just a few.

In the older play area there is lots of climbing equipment, swings and zip wire.

We went to the playground on a very wet day, but there are lots of shelters dotted around the play areas.
