Find Out More About Christchurch Meadows
Christchurch Meadows in Reading can be found along the River Thames, with a large play area which includes a wooden boat, sandpit, swings, climbing frames, zip wire and more. There is something for all ages.

There is also a large playing field, tennis courts and paddling pool, which is only open during the summer season. Keep an eye on the Berkshire Mummies splash pad and paddling pools blog post to check if this paddling pool is open when you visit.

You can also enjoy riverside walks and if you walk onto Christchurch Bridge, which is the modern bridge just next to the play area, you will get a good view of river life.

Where Can I Park?
When we visited we parked at Hills Meadow car park (RG4 8DH) which is just a short walk along the river away from Christchurch Meadows. You will also find a good sized skate park in the car park too.

What Else is Nearby?
Nearby is Whittington’s Tea Barge and Thames Lido.
