Little Leapers Play Café and Bakery, Bracknell – Offers stay & play sessions (ages 0 – 7yrs) with an on-site café making fresh food and baked goods daily. During term times they also offer a variety of classes. You can find out more on their website.

Lakeside Soft Play, Datchet – There is a soft play area where the children (0-5yrs) can play whilst adults enjoy a hot drink and locally sourced food. They also offer children’s ‘lunch boxes’. You can view the website here. You can read about our visit here.

The Ruby Play Café, Sandhurst – Parents can relax while their child plays as they have an open plan view so you can always see your child. There are a number of different themed play areas for the children to enjoy. You can find out more here.

Dobbie’s Garden Centre, Hare Hatch – The garden centre has a café and also a soft play split into sections for 0-2yrs and 3-8yrs. It costs £2pp and can be booked in advance. You can find out more here.

Salt Hill Activity Centre, Slough – They offer a range of different activities here including an indoor soft play for children up to 12yrs. There is a café here as well. You can find out more on the website.

The Parkside Café, Reading – The Parkside Café is a relaxed and friendly community place for people to meet and enjoy a drink and some food (hot/cold/cakes/kids boxes). There is a soft play area for children under 7 years. You can find out more here.

Cobbs Play Barn, Hungerford – You will find a wooden indoor play barn at Cobbs Farm Shop. The wooden structure is suitable for toddlers up to 8 years, but there is also a soft zone designed for the younger family members too. Chai Cocoa, Maidenhead – There is a tree centred play frame and a sensory space. You can enjoy a morning coffee, brunch, or afternoon tea and cake – there are plenty of food and drink options. You can view the website here.

Robyn’s Nest Café, Warfield – The café has a small children’s play area to keep the children busy whilst you enjoy some food and drink – afternoon tea’s are also served. You can view the website here.

Oaken Grove Park Tuck Shop – It does takeaway food – everything from breakfast in a box and burgers to ice-cream and drinks. There is outdoor seating. Next to the Tuck Shop you will find the park with play areas, a pond, football pitches and more. You can read all about our visit here.

Admiral Cunningham, Bracknell – There is a children’s play area with a climbing frame outside. You can view more details here.

Fernygrove Coffee Shop, Warfield – They serve an all-day breakfast, sweet treats, homemade cream teas and delicious cakes plus more. Everything served at the coffee shop is homemade and cooked to order. There is seating outside as well as a little play area and sand pit for children. You can read about our visit here.

Cafes with Outdoor and Indoor Play Areas in Berkshire

Juniors Café and Soft Play, Maidenhead – The café has a variety of food, drink, ice creams, sweet treats and pastries. The soft play is split into two zones, an area purposely designed for under 2s and the other for ages 2-8 years. You can find out more here. Woody’s Café, Windsor – Windsor Soft Play is based at Woody’s Café. The soft play is for children aged 5 years and under and is set on three levels. The café sells a range of food and drink including cooked breakfasts, sandwiches, burgers, ice creams, hot and cold drinks and more. You can read about our visit here. Outside you will find Clewer Memorial Recreation Ground which is also known as The Pirate Park, as there is a massive Pirate Ship in the middle of the play area, surrounded by a large sandpit.
