Norden Farm Centre for the Arts
Norden Farm Centre for the Arts is Maidenhead’s only purpose built entertainment venue – offering family shows and events, plus classes and activities for children and young people. There is also plenty for grown-ups to enjoy too – from live music and comedy to films and a Café Bar. The building is a hidden gem, nestled in the middle of a residential neighbourhood in the Altwood / Boyn Hill area – with the bonus of free onsite parking.
Norden Farm curates a packed line-up of activities to entertain and engage young minds each school holiday - featuring family shows, family films, storytelling and craft sessions. Get stuck in with after school classes for young people including drama and podcasting.
Whilst the arts centre’s doors are temporarily closed due to lockdown, the fun continues online via interactive Zoom session and shows streamed live from their main stage. This includes weekly Sunday Funday activities that range from Magic & Storytelling to Big Dog, Little Dog: Parent and Child Yoga. You can even book a craft pack, collect from their takeaway service, and get creative.
The fun doesn’t stop there! Norden Farm also host annual community events including Quest Family Fest in the Easter holidays, a Lantern Parade that lights up Maidenhead, the Community Kite Festival at a local park, and the ever-popular Maidenhead Beach at Norden Farm across the summer holidays. Things may look a little different this year as they continue to follow Government guidelines, but the venue can’t wait to welcome audiences back in person when they reopen.
