Home-Start Bracknell Forest is a local family support charity, offering free confidential support, friendship and practical help to parents with children under 5 years of age, in all areas of Bracknell Forest Borough.

Friendship and community can be crucial when raising young children - after all, children do well when parents get the support they need.

Home-Start Bracknell Forest recruit and train local parent volunteers (who understand the pressures of parenting), and match the volunteer with a local family in need of a helping hand. The volunteer provides 121 practical and emotional support in the home through situations as diverse as isolation, multiple birth, depression or disability.

As well as 121 parent-to-parent support, Home-Start Bracknell Forest regularly host and deliver parenting activities such as group meets, organised walks and courses and talks from the local parenting professionals.
