We have been attending the Summer of Fun Days in Bracknell Forest for a number of years. They have always been fantastic community events and the best thing for families is these events are free of charge.

Introduction to Summer of Fun Days in Bracknell Forest
Each Summer of Fun event is run by different parish councils within Bracknell Forest and from our experience the events may each be slightly different depending on which activities and providers they have coming on the day. but they all have plenty of free family activities and are lovely to attend.
All about a previous Summer of Fun Day at Warfield Memorial Ground
A few years ago we attended the Summer of Fun Day at Warfield Memorial Ground. There were lawn games, craft activities, tuff tray activities, recycling activities, an inflatable climbing wall, inflatable obstacle course, mini golf, circus skills, balloon modelling and more. This just gives you an idea of what activities to expect but they may be different each year.
Summer of Fun Event Dates and Locations 2024
Here are the dates, times and location for the Summer of Fun Days for 2024. All are FREE Entry.
31st July 2024, 11am – 3pm, Warfield Memorial Ground
2nd August 2024, 11am – 3pm, Sandhurst Memorial Park
7th August 2024, 11am – 3pm, Great Hollands Recreation Ground, Bracknell
13th August 2024, 11am – 3pm, Morgan Recreation Ground, Crowthorne
21st August 2024, 11am – 3pm, Farley Wood Community Centre, Binfield
28th August 2024, 11am – 3pm, Braybrooke Recreation Ground, Bracknell
Should I take money to the events?
Parking, entry and the activities are all free of charge. You may want to take some money with you however as at previous events there has always been an ice-cream van.
Can you take a picnic?
Yes, you can take a picnic with you but there are normally some refreshments available to buy at the events too.
