AD – Gifted Tickets // Review – Maidenhead Mini-Golf

We were delighted to be invited to Maidenhead Mini-Golf to have a go on their brand new 18 hole, dinosaur themed, mini-golf course and were thrilled it was dry and sunny after a very wet week! It was a perfect way to enjoy a Friday Half Term afternoon.

We received a very warm welcome, were given size appropriate golf clubs and picked a different coloured ball each, had a quick safety briefing and headed out onto the course. The mini-golf course was busy which was great to see, but the rounds flowed nicely with us only having to wait for the family on the hole in front of us to finish their go.

The mini-golf was well thought out with different challenges and obstacles at each hole, on one you had to cross water and there were a couple that involved tunnels and bridges to get the ball through. The dinosaurs dotted around the course really added to the atmosphere and it was great to spot the dinosaur eggs and baby dinosaurs. Whilst playing you also ran the risk of hitting your ball into water as there were several ‘ponds’ dotted around the course, however nets were provided to be able to rescue your ball, this was a highlight for my eldest! The golf course is also buggy friendly which was really useful.

The mini-golf is suitable for children 4+ years (but they do accept younger players). We found it a great family activity, enjoyed by all.

We had a great hour or so at Maidenhead Mini-Golf. The attraction was well organised, welcoming and we enjoyed the challenge and family time.
