I took my little one to The Foxes’ Den Café in Binfield for a drink, cake and also a bit of crafting. I have seen the community café mentioned on social media a few times over the last couple of weeks and thought I would go and try the café for myself. The café run a range of sessions including Pre-Schooler Craft sessions, New Mums Meet Ups, Rhyme Time, Crafternooners (adults craft) and more. The Pre-Schooler Craft session we attended was free of charge and it was lovely to sit down with my little one for half an hour and get creative in a lovely environment. The sessions run at the café are listed on the café website and also on a large chalkboard in the venue itself.
The café is in a large open space with loads of light and overlooks a playing field and play area. We had a drink and cake each and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and after taking our order at the counter brought our drinks over to us.
There is also a well organised table for little ones which included puzzles, books and crayons.
In the main café itself there is an area called ‘The Nook’. ‘The Nook’ has a large craft table in it, part of which houses a community jigsaw puzzle. Our craft session took place in ‘The Nook’ and it was great to sit and talk to other adults (both staff and customers) whilst crafting with my little one.
We had a lovely hour and a half at the café and look forward to returning for more of their sessions as well as delicious food and drink.
