Jennett’s Hill is a large hay field and wild flower meadow with a small woodland. Jennette’s Hill is in the middle of Jennett’s Park and has series of connecting walks to it, including Peacock Meadows. You will also find the Jennett’s Hill Play Area which has two play areas one suitable for 0-5 years and the other for 6-18+ years plus two multi-use games areas.
What’s at the play area and multi-use games area?
All the play facilities sit next to each other with the multi-use games area in the middle of the two play areas.
The play area for 0-5 year olds has toddler swings, a small climbing frame with slide, see-saw, springing bucket and games on the ground.
The play area for older children has a range of swings and climbing equipment. It also has a basket ball net and teenage shelter.
There are two multi-use games areas side by side which have basket ball courts marked out.
What else is there?
Behind the play area for the younger children there is a small woodland which you can walk through, when we visited there was a den in the middle of the woods and foxgloves.
What facilities are there?
Next to the car park you will find a co-op and Jennette’s Park Community Centre which runs lots of children’s classes plus a school.
Where can I park?
The nearest parking is at Tawny Owl Square, Bracknell, RG12 8EB. You then have to walk to the play area which is situated here on the map. The walk is flat on pavements so suitable for buggies.
